The year that was: Our highlights of 2021 Coming up: Plans for 2022 From the Veridian team: Happy holidays
Hello friend of Veridian,
The year is almost at a close! Read our 2021 wrap-up newsletter and find out what’s on the cards for 2022.
Well if the events of 2020 demonstrated the benefits of digitising a collection, 2021’s continued curveballs have
proved the point! Despite again working part of the year from our home offices, we’ve seen exciting developments and ‘firsts’ including a collection playing a part in a documentary, and the launch of Veridian’s first cross-state collection.
We’ve also completed further refinements to the Veridian software, launched new collections and seen existing collections grow to reach an impressive scale.
Continuous improvements to the Veridian platform and our upgrades programme. This work helps ensure all Veridian collections are upgraded more regularly to obtain new features.
Furthering extensive improvements and modernisation for Ulukau, the Hawaiian Electronic Library with our friends from the University of Hawaii. It’s definitely time - we built some of the many digital collections that form Ulukau over 20 years ago!
Pōhutukawa at Cornwallis Beach, West Auckland, North Island, Aotearoa New Zealand. Pōhutukawa are native to New Zealand, and are also commonly known as the Kiwi Christmas tree since they are in full bloom during the Kiwi summer holiday season. Thanks for reading our Veridian newsletters over 2021, whether you are a client, partner or simply a lover of digital collections and software. We hope you have an enjoyable holiday break, and look forward to communicating with you in the new year!
We’ll be relaxing on the beach from 24 December, and will be back on board from 5 January.
Until then, very best wishes from the Veridian team
Stefan, Michael, Jeffrey, Andrew, Richard, Pei, Shane, Ryan and Wayne.
